Model      0.9-1.7

 

Brand new from CLPT is an InGaAs linear sensor with
-1024 x 1 pixels and 12.5um pixel pictch with pixel heights of 12.5 and 250um.
-512 x 1 pixels and 25 µm pixel pitch with pixel heights of 250 and 500 µm.
  
The sensor will be introduced to the market at VISION 2022. The sensor is sensitive in the standard InGaAs spectral range of 0.9 – 1.7 µm. The pixel operability is > 99% and the quantum efficiency > 70% at 1550 nm.
  
The photodiode arrays are hybridized with an SPI interface CMOS readout integrated circuit (ROIC). With its 2 outputs, the sensor achieves a pixel rate of 22 MHz. The sensor comes in a 28-lead Kovar metal DIP package with an integrated 1 or 2-stage thermoelectric cooler, for a chip operating temperature of -20 deg C (higher and lower T also possible).
  
Other Key applications include NIR spectroscopy, Agricultural sorting, optical coherence tomography (OCT), NIR scanners, semiconductor inspection, and process monitoring.

1024 x 1
InGaAs linear sensor with 1024 x 1 pixels and a pixel size of 12.5x12.5 µm (square) and 12.5x250 µm (tall). The linear sensor consists of a linear InGaAs photodiode array, which is connected to 2 integrated p-on-n readout circuits.
 
512x1
InGaAs linear sensor with 512 x 1 pixels and a pixel size of 25x25 µm (square) and 25x250 µm/25x500 µm (tall). The linear sensor consists of a linear InGaAs photodiode array, which is connected to an integrated p-on-n readout circuit.

The sensors are sensitive in the standard InGaAs spectral range of 0.9 – 1.7 µm. The pixel operability is > 99% and the quantum efficiency is > 70% at 1550 nm. Multiple gain settings are possible.
With their 1/ 2 outputs, the sensors achieve a readout rate of approx. 40 kHz (to be specified) at a pixel rate of 22 MHz.

The sensors come in a Ceramic Leadless Chip Carrier package and are suitable for room temperature.
The sensors support SPI protocol for command register setting. The sensor's amplification, control of the sensor's power consumption, and the pixel-by-pixel order of the output signal can also be adjusted.

Key applications include NIR spectroscopy, web inspection, optical coherence tomography (OCT), NIR scanners, semiconductor inspection, and process monitoring.

The InGaAs Focal Plane Array is the optimized solution for near-infrared imaging and imaging spectrograph applications in 900nm to 1700nm wavelength range. The core technology of CLPT implements the InGaAs FPA with excellent quality. The CLCC package also facilitates the mechanical design of CCD and CMOS camera vendors.

The InGaAs Focal Plane Array is the optimized solution for near-infrared imaging and imaging spectrograph applications in 900nm to 1700nm wavelength range, especially under uncooled conditions. The core technology of CLPT implements the InGaAs FPA with excellent quality. The sensitivity can be further increased by using the embedded TE-cooler. High reliability is achieved by the hermetic metal package.

Based on the skilled InGaAs processing, CLPT is able to provide a series of high-quality large area InGaAs PIN photodiode chips with apertures of 0.3, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, and 5mm. The short wavelength extended (600~1700nm, -17V) series can cover the light detection waveband in the combination of Si and standard InGaAs detectors. Customer design chip shape, size, and aperture are also available.
   

In response to the growing demand for low light sensing (e.g., LIDAR), CLPT has launched thermoelectric-cooled InGaAs photodiodes based on a compact TO-46 package. With minimal cooling power consumption(<0.3W)for low-temperature or temperature-controlled operation, these photodiodes exhibit better sensitivity and stability than conventional uncooled ones.
